These Terms and Conditions govern your use of JobProof, operated by Urban Folklore Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15418082, with registered address at 2 Tadley Close, Fleet, England, GU51 1DS. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Description of Service

• JobProof is an AI-powered interview practice tool that uses user-provided CV and job description content to generate mock interview questions and coaching.
• JobProof is for interview preparation only and is not intended for use during live interviews or real-time assessments.
• All scoring and feedback are generated by automated AI systems without human reviewers.
• JobProof processes text and voice inputs only and does not generate visual media.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use JobProof.
• You are responsible for account credential security.
• You may not share your account with other users.

3. User Content

• You retain ownership of your CV text, job description text, and submitted answers.
• You grant us a limited licence to process your data only to deliver interview practice, coaching, and session output.
• We do not use your content to train AI models. Inputs are processed through third-party APIs under their API data processing terms.
• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit your content.

4. Prohibited Uses

• Using JobProof during live interviews, assessments, or evaluations.
• Creating fabricated credentials or deceptive interview claims.
• Impersonating another person.
• Violating applicable laws or third-party rights.
• Reverse engineering, scraping, or extracting internal prompts/scoring systems.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Purchases and Payment

• JobProof offers a limited free trial and paid session packs as one-time purchases.
• Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited (Paddle), which acts as Merchant of Record.
• By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle buyer terms at paddle.com/legal.
• Session packs are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew.
• Packs activate on your first paid session and must be used within the stated expiry window.

6. Refunds

Refund terms are stated in our dedicated refund policy at /refund.

7. Disclaimers

• JobProof is a preparation tool and does not guarantee interviews or job outcomes.
• AI-generated coaching is practice guidance, not professional legal or career advice.
• We do not provide recruitment services or employment placement.
• Users remain responsible for the truthfulness and defensibility of claims made in interviews.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Urban Folklore Ltd is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Total liability is limited to amounts you paid in the 12 months before a claim.

9. Intellectual Property

• The JobProof service, branding, prompts, and scoring systems are our intellectual property.
• You retain ownership of your original content inputs.
• Coaching outputs are licensed to you for personal interview preparation use.

10. Modifications

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes are communicated via email or in-product notice. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
